2012-10 Transition from AMS to ACE - Effective September 29, 2012

Congressman Kurt Schrader is currently serving his second term in the United States House of Representatives. He represents Oregon’s 5^th Congressional District which includes all of Marion, Polk, Lincoln and Tillamook Counties as well as the bulk of Clackamas and small portions of Multnomah and Benton Counties. He was elected to U.S. Congress in 2008. Congressman Schrader currently serves as a member of the House Committee on Agriculture, House Committee on Small Business and serves as ranking member of the House Small Business Subcommittee on Finance and Tax.

2012-04 Broker Triennial Report and Fee

This is to advise Customs brokers that the Triennial Status Report fee of $100 that is assessed for each license held by a broker whether it may be an individual, partnership, association or corporation, is due during the month of February 2012 along with the corresponding status report.

This is the Nov 9 Arbitration results from discussion regarding refrigerated containers having passed through, fueled, and serviced in Vietnam. The ILWU had cut service to moving equipment due to several containers having exploded, while injuring and killing people. This arbitration was to help consistancy for labor practices on the west coast with regards to refrigerated container movement and treatment.
